Dr. Sten Langmann is an Australian and German dual national currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Resource Management at PMU, KSA.
He holds a BCom (2007), MCom (2009), and PhD in Management (2013), all from Curtin University, Australia. He brings over 15 years of teaching experience across undergraduate, postgraduate, and MBA programs in AACSB-accredited universities.
Dr. Sten Langmann’s teaching philosophy centers on the belief that every student has unique potential. His role as an educator is to help students to discover and develop these capabilities. He draws on real- world case studies, open dialogue, and story-driven lessons to spark curiosity, develop critical thinking, and connect classroom learning to the challenges students will face in their careers.
His research interest focuses on curiosity within organizational settings, particularly its influence in shaping adjustment, performance, and workplace behavior. His earlier research explored knowledge sharing among NGOs working in poverty reduction, where he used visual and participatory methods to highlight the lived experiences of marginalized communities. He is the author of a book on photography as a social research method and has published in several international peer-reviewed journals.
