Mr. Abdul Aziz Afzal earned his B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), KSA in 2017 and his M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Manufacturing & Applied Materials from KFUPM, KSA in 2019. During his time at KFUPM, he worked as a Research Assistant where he was involved in funded research projects along with providing mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students working on design-based projects. His research interests include application focused material design of alloys and life cycle assessment of manufacturing processes focusing primarily on welding processes. He is co-author of two journal publications and has received a US Patent.
