Mr. Zeeshan Jawed Shah has taught fine arts, web media, filmmaking, 3D modeling & animation, and visual effects courses at the University College of Bahrain, New York Institute of Technology Bahrain Campus, and the University of Bahrain. He holds more than fifteen years of extensive teaching experience, and his problem-based, and project-based learning pedagogy made him a popular faculty member in Bahrain. Mr. Zeeshan is also considered the pioneer of the students' film project in Bahrain and the first one to produce commercial feature-length films as student projects in Bahrain. Mr. Zeeshan was born in Saudi Arabia and went to Bahrain in 2006 to work as a lecturer at the New York Institute of Technology Bahrain Campus. He mainly taught web design, 3D modeling & animation, computer graphics, motion design, and 2D animation courses in the beginning and then he included art history, drawing, and digital photography in his teaching list. Gradually he started to work on film projects with NYIT students, which was based on his project-based learning teaching style in Bahrain. He released three commercial films so far in Bahrain, which include the first International full-fledged Bahraini horror-comedy called Dead Sands (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2571660). He also worked with international students from Turkey and produced a Turkish film with them in 2015 called Bits of What I have (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5016990/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1). Mr. Zeeshan also showcased his UCB Students' video projects in Bahrain in 2013, Saar Cinema, in 2014 he organized the first-ever Multimedia Exhibition in Bahrain.
 

Apart from filmmaking Mr. Zeeshan is also highly involved in interactive media, and has organized various workshops related to Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. He has been a notable member of Bahrain's gaming society where he participated in many game design events such as gulf game jams. His main strength and interest are 3D modeling and Animation, he is currently writing a book on Adobe's latest 3D suite which will be soon released.
