Ubaid Tantary did his Ph.D. in Physics from the Center for Nuclear Research at Kent State University, USA (2024) and joined Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, KSA, as Assistant Professor in 2025 after postdoctoral work at Brandon University and the Winnipeg Institute for Theoretical Physics, Canada. His research focuses on QCD and quantum field theories, particularly N=4 Supersymmetric Yang–Mills at finite temperature and density, using perturbative thermal field theory, effective field theories, and gauge/gravity duality. He has taught Classical Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Quantum Mechanics, and Special Relativity, including Seven Ideas That Shook the Universe, a popular undergraduate course he designed at Kent State.
