Dr. Tariq Aziz is a Pakistani National, working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at PMU, KSA. He received his B.E. degree from Mehran University of Engineering in Pakistan, in 2004, MBA in Finance from IBA Karachi, Pakistan, M.Sc. in Financial Engineering from Birmingham University, Birmingham, UK, in 2012, and Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom, in 2016.

He has several years of experience in teaching, research and curriculum development at graduate and undergraduate levels. He has taught many courses such as Managerial accounting, Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Introduction to Finance, International Finance, Financial management, and Investment. His research interests include Empirical finance, Financial economics and international Finance. He has published several papers in well recognized journals. He hopes to contribute in knowledge area such as: Market volatility, and Fintech, that will help shape the future of Finance in KSA and the region.
