Currently, I’m working as "Assistant Professor" at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Saudi Arabia. In the most recent past, I conducted research as  the First Jan Warner Scholar at CGDS (the Center for Gender and Development Studies), American University in Iraq - Sulaimani where I also taught several courses such as "Israel/Palestine Conflict" “Gender and Genocide” “Gender and Islam” “Kurdish History” “Modern Civilizations” “Gender in Ancient Greece” and supervised “Capstone Project”.
 
My PhD Dissertation "the History of Shia, Sunni and Yazidi Conflict: A Political, Social or Religious Conflict and its impact on the Peace Process in the Middle East" with a special focus on Kurdistan and my MA in Peace and Conflict Studies were done at the University of Innsbruck-Austria. I have served in different educational institutions around the world as an English Teacher and I have worked with national and international NGOs in different positions, where I was dealing with a number of multi-cultural and multi-lingual colleagues. The major areas in which I have worked sufficiently are Education, Media, Human Rights, Sexual & Gender-based Violence, Disaster Management, Child Protection, Psychosocial Support & Rehabilitation, Project Cycle Management and Community based Interventions.
