Sally Tallant

Sally is an experienced English language educator with nearly 20 years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) in a range of international educational contexts.

She has taught in China, Malaysia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Taiwan and the United Kingdom, working across a variety of educational settings, including Sheffield University, Solent University, Southampton University and Warwick University.

Sally currently teaches English at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, working with students across Beginner to Advanced levels. Her teaching experience has given her a strong understanding of how learners engage with language, where they encounter difficulties, and how well-designed learning materials can support greater confidence and independence.

Alongside her teaching career, Sally has developed a growing specialism in digital instructional design and learning experience design. She has completed professional training in digital design and is currently undertaking further study in digital design and UX. She is also developing a professional portfolio of digital learning projects and exploring how technology and AI can be used to create more targeted, engaging and learner-centred learning experiences.
