Dr. Sumiya Nasir is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, College of Science and Human Studies, Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Saudi Arabia. She earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Science, GC University, Lahore, Pakistan, where her research focused on Commutative Algebra.

Dr. Sumiya has over a decade of teaching and research experience in prestigious institutions across Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Her teaching portfolio includes a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.

Her research interests lie in Commutative Algebra, Graph Theory, Labeling of different families of Graphs and drugs in Chemical and biochemical field.   She has an extensive publication record in high-impact, peer-reviewed international journals. She has also been actively involved in funded research projects, curriculum development, academic committees, and international collaborations. In addition to her academic roles, she serves as a reviewer for several ISI-indexed journals and contributes to the advancement of research and education through conferences, workshops, and community engagement.
