Dr Norah Al Mousa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the College of Business Administration, Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU). She holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Sussex Business School, UK, and is an Associate Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), reflecting her commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
Her doctoral research focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices in Saudi companies, with particular emphasis on board dynamics, corporate governance, earnings quality, and the role of national transformation initiatives such as Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Programme. Her research interests include corporate sustainability, business ethics, and responsible business practices, with a strong focus on bridging academic research and practical implementation to address challenges in governance, ESG integration, and sustainable development.
In addition to her academic responsibilities, Dr Al Mousa actively contributes to the scholarly community through a range of editorial and professional roles. She serves as an Editorial Team Member for the Journal of Business Ethics (BUSI) and The Brief Encounters – Issue 9, and as a member of the Editorial Board for The Journal of Applied Economics and Policy Studies and The Journal of Fintech and Business Analysis (EWA Publishing).
She is also involved in several academic and professional committees, including the International Conference on Management Research and Economic Development (ICMRED) and the Conference on Business and Policy Studies (CONF-BPS).
