I am a bilingual Assistant Professor of Law, fluent in English and Arabic, with a robust background spanning both the private and public sectors. I have extensive experience in teaching and leading undergraduate and postgraduate modules in private and public law, including Public International Law, Human Rights and Civil Liberties, Equity and Trusts, Legal Methods, Criminal Law, Land Law, and Business Law. I have also supervised dissertations at all levels.
My research focuses on the intersection of Islamic and international human rights law, with particular emphasis on minority welfare, women's rights, criminal law reform, and the regulation of hate expression. I am passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment and I am committed to delivering an outstanding student experience.
In addition to my teaching and research roles, I have served as the lead for academic integrity and student mobility. I currently teach a range of Arabic and English-taught courses, including Saudi Constitutional Law, Criminal Procedure, General Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Legal Writing and Research.
Beyond the classroom, I am actively involved in the broader academic life of the law school at PMU, contributing to curriculum design, organising and facilitating conferences, participating in recruitment and interview panels, and supporting student engagement through law fairs and other extracurricular activities.
