Dr. Ali Malik is an Associate Professor of Finance in College of Business Administration at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), Saudi Arabia. He holds a PhD from Middlesex University, UK, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and Chartered Management and Business Educator (CMBE).

Dr. Malik has extensive international experience in higher education, academic leadership, teaching, and research across the UK and the Middle East. Prior to joining PMU, he served as Head of Academic Programmes and Acting Dean at QFBA–Northumbria University in Qatar and previously held senior academic roles at the University of Hertfordshire, UK.

He has published more than 32 research papers in international journals, with research interests spanning finance, banking, fintech, financial inclusion, sustainability, Islamic finance, and higher education. He also serves the academic community through editorial, external examining, and quality-assurance roles. Dr Malik has extensive doctoral supervision and examination experience. He is currently the Associate Editor of International Journal of Business Performance Management (IJBPM).
