Dr. Muhammad Azhar Ali Khan received his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia in 2018. He did his MS from Middle East Technical University, Turkey in 2013 and BE from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan in 2009. During his stay at KFUPM and METU, he gained six years’ of experience in teaching undergraduate courses. He also assisted a range of mechanical engineering courses on mechanics, materials, and manufacturing. His research is focused on utilization of computational methods and tools for mold design optimization, performance evaluation and reliability assessment of cast parts. He is an author of the book “Evolution of Metal Casting Technologies: A Historical Perspective”, in addition to his other technical publications in reputable international conferences and scientific journals.
