Dr. Aminul Islam is a Professor at the College of Business Administration, Prince Mohammad Bin Fahad University, Saudi Arabia. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the International Islamic University Malaysia, followed by an MBA and a PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia. Additionally, he holds an Advanced Diploma in Teaching in Higher Education from Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom.

With an extensive academic portfolio, Dr. Islam has authored and co-authored more than 215 journal articles, 66 conference papers, six books, and three book chapters. His research contributions have received over 10,000 citations on Google Scholar and more than 980,000 reads on ResearchGate, positioning him among the top 1% of researchers worldwide.

Dr. Islam is a certified trainer with the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC) of Malaysia and the founder of the YouTube channel “Platform for Research and Development.” He is an active member of the Asian Academy of Management, the Malaysian Institute of Management, and an associate member of the Malaysian Finance Association. He also serves as Chief Editor and sits on several editorial boards of international journals.

His research interests include FinTech, financial markets, blockchain technology, and Islamic banking and finance. Over his career, Professor Islam has supervised 28 PhD candidates and 15 post-doctoral scholars, all of whom successfully completed their studies under his guidance. He has also mentored more than 100 MBA and undergraduate research projects.

Dr. Islam’s outstanding contributions to academia have earned him numerous accolades, including the Best Supervisor Award (2018 & 2019) for producing the highest number of PhD graduates at Universiti Malaysia Perlis, the Best Thesis Award (2011) for his exceptional doctoral dissertation at Universiti Sains Malaysia, and the Special Service Excellence Award as the Best Lecturer of Universiti Malaysia Perlis.
