Professor Luke van Der Laan is an internationally recognized scholar in work-based learning in higher education, foresight, leadership and strategy. He has a PhD (Foresight, Leadership and Strategy) from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
Professor van der Laan is a visionary leader with: an extensive publication record; high-level citations; leading extensive global consultancy projects; extensive higher degree research completions and as an invited keynote speaker at national and international events.
Professor van der Laan has a distinguished career spanning academia and industry. Complimented by previously being the CEO of a national institution, he has consulted for on complex international projects and is an advisor to national educational institutions internationally. He currently holds numerous university, global professional body and research institute leadership positions.
