Dr. Layal JRADI is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She has received her Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from Université Paris-Est, Paris, France in 2018.

Her major expertise is in the area of Geotechnical Engineering. Dr. Jradi has several years of experience in teaching, research and curriculum development at graduate and undergraduate levels. She has developed a testing protocol based on the use of a new servo-hydraulic triaxial setup allowing to shear specimens under both monotonic and cyclic loading in order to examine the influence of fine particles on the properties of liquefaction of sands.

 Her research interests include soil dynamics, earthquake engineering and geotechnical engineering for offshore wind turbines. Dr. Jradi has several publications in refereed journals and international conference proceedings.
