Linda Parker holds a Masters Degree in Educational Administration and is CELTA, TEFL, & HR certified. With over 20 years of teaching and administrative experience, she truly understands the dynamics of the constantly changing needs of the ESL teaching and learning environment in the Middle East and East Asia. Before joining PMU, she taught ESL at various institutions in Saudi Arabia and held various administrative positions in Malaysia. Her role as Manager of the Women’s Affairs Secretariat at the International Islamic University, Malaysia, has made a profound impact on her as she had actively promoted female students’ participation at various academic workshops, leadership programs and community service projects. She believes that education is like planting and nurturing a seed that will grow and shape tomorrow.
She was the Associate Chair of the PMU English Preparatory Program, Female Campus from 2010 to 2017. She is currently teaching Written Communication, Oral Communication, and Technical and Professional Communication courses in the Humanities and Social Sciences Department, Deanship of Core Curriculum Program.
