Ikram Ud Din (Senior Member, IEEE) earned his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Malaysia. He is currently an Associate Research Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), Saudi Arabia. Previously, he served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology at The University of Haripur, Pakistan, and as a Research Fellow at INTI International University, Malaysia.

His research interests include artificial intelligence, intelligent transportation systems, the Internet of Things, information-centric networking, vehicular networks, edge computing, cybersecurity, blockchain, trust management, machine learning, and digital twins. He has authored more than 170 publications with more than 9,000 citations, an h-index of 52, and an i10-index exceeding 120. He has been recognized among the Stanford University World's Top 2% Scientists for five consecutive years (2021–2025), ranked among the Top 10 Computer Scientists in Pakistan by Research.com, and placed in the Top 0.05% of researchers worldwide by ScholarGPS.

Dr. Ikram serves as an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems and as an Academic Editor of the Journal of Healthcare Engineering. He has also served as a Guest Editor for several special issues in leading journals and regularly reviews manuscripts for journals published by IEEE, Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, and MDPI.

He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in artificial intelligence, machine learning, the Internet of Things, computer networks, cybersecurity, parallel and distributed computing, data structures, and programming. He has successfully supervised 28 M.S. and 7 Ph.D. graduates and continues to guide graduate researchers.

At PMU, Dr. Ikram aims to strengthen research and graduate education through interdisciplinary projects, competitive research funding, and partnerships with academic and industry collaborators. His work also supports Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 through the development of AI-driven technologies and contributions to the Kingdom's knowledge-based and digital economy.
