Dr. Huson Joher Ali Ahmed is an Australian citizen, from Geelong Victoria. He obtained his Ph.D (Finance) from Malaysian Graduate School of Management, UPM in 2000. A quality-oriented, self-directed and driven academic with 2+ decades of teaching and research experience in Finance. Lastly associated with Deakin Business School, Deakin University, Australia as Senior Lecturer – Finance.
His current research focus on empirical/applied corporate finance and investment, energy finance and housing studies. He has published more than 35 journal articles, majority of which are index with Scopus.
