Dr. Faramarz Djavanroodi is Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, College of Engineering at Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University,.
Previously, Dr. Djavanroodi was a Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Qassim University. Dr. Djavanroodi is a member of Institute of mechanical engineers (IMech) and American Society Mechanical Engineering (ASME).
Dr. Djavanroodi 's current fields of research include Nano structure materials, Life assessment of high temperature components, Creep/Fatigue fracture, Finite Element Analysis and Reverse Engineering.
Dr. Djavanroodi published 63 journal papers and 54 conference proceedings papers and conducted 5 short courses and workshops. He graduated 32 M.S. and 4 Ph.D. Students. KACST, Qassim university and PMU have funded his research. Dr. Djavanroodi is a reviewer of a number of international journals.
