Dr. Dahaman Ishak is a Malaysian national, working as an Associate Research Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at PMU, KSA. He received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University, New York, USA in 1990, his M.Sc. in Electrical Power from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK in 2001, and his Ph.D. from the University of Sheffield, UK in 2005.

Dr. Dahaman has about eight years of working experience as an electrical engineer in the manufacturing industries, and the construction and maintenance of seaports. He received his Professional Engineer status from the Board of Engineers Malaysia in 1997. After Ph.D study, Dr. Dahaman worked as an academic staff in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia. He has more than twenty years of experience in teaching, research, undergraduate and postgraduate supervision, program accreditation, and curriculum development. Under his supervision, he has successfully graduated about 40 students at the MSc and PhD levels. Dr. Dahaman has published more than 200 papers in the reputable journals and international conference proceedings.
