Dr. Daniele Beacco is an Italian architect, working as a Lecturer in the department of Architecture at PMU, KSA. His mother tongue is Italian; he speaks English, French and Arabic.
He received his B.E. degree in 2006, M.E. degree in 2009, and his Ph.D. in 2019. All of his degrees are from the Politecnico di Milano University, Milan, Italy.
Dr. Daniele Beacco has years of experience in teaching, both in Italy and abroad, research and curriculum development at graduate and undergraduate levels. He has developed studies in Architectural Composition, Urban Studies and drawing courses, through projects and workshops analyzing urban transformations of industrial sites across Italian cities and more recently in historical cities of the Indian Subcontinent and Middle East. He has adopted an interdisciplinary teaching method in order to stimulate creativity and excellence in architecture.
His research interests include history of Modern and Contemporary History of Architecture, Architectural Drawings and Islamic Culture and Art. In his recent researches during his PhD in comparative urban and architectural analysis across the cities of Punjab, between India and Pakistan, he focused on the urban analysis of Islamic Cities in Indian subcontinent describing their own specific architectural features.
Dr. Daniele Beacco hopes to contribute to the academic excellence of the Architectural Department supporting the development of an outstanding generation of new architects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
