Dr. Papageorgiou is a professor in the department of Electrical Engineering at PMU, KSA.
He received his B.A. degree, M.Eng. degree and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Cambridge, UK, in 1998, 1999 and 2004 respectively. His technical expertise is
in control systems design and analysis using optimization with applications in the aerospace and automotive sectors.
Dr. Papageorgiou has several years of experience in teaching, research, and management in the higher education sector. He has been involved in research projects while working at European universities in the areas of robustness analysis of flight control systems, the design of optimal vehicle suspensions and the experimental testing and modeling of mechanical devices. He has substantial experience in education management, having served as the Head of the Engineering School and as the Dean of the Engineering Faculty of a higher education institute.
