Dr. Bachar Tarraf is a Lebanese/French national and a multilingual scholar fluent in English, French, and Arabic. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Inria Bordeaux Sud-Ouest/University of Bordeaux, France, with a focus on the mathematical modeling of cardiac mitochondrial respiration. Dr. Tarraf joined Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) in Fall 2024. His academic interests include data science, mathematical modeling, machine learning, and the application of quantitative methods to real-world problems in agriculture, climate, and health.
