Dr. Abdurrahman Ishaq is an assistant professor in the Math and Natural Science Department. Before joining PMU he was the principal of Math and Science unit in Saudi Aramco Academic Training Centre. He participated actively in Knowledge sharing and Quality Assurance activities and awarded certificate of excellence in 2015.He is a certified teacher of Physics and Mathematics (GTC) and taught Mathematics and Physics in Scotland for 10 Years to high school and college students. Before that, he was a lecturer in Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria, where he taught Polymer Chemistry and Physics for 5 years. He also taught physics and Mechanics at Manarat International school, Jeddah. Dr Ishaq enjoys teaching. He often put himself in the students’ shoes, by often asking himself how he would want this to be presented to himself. He regards each student as an individual with unique needs. He employs technology very often to assist his exposition. Dr. Ishaq has attended many workshops and conferences and made many presentations in teaching and learning. He has also published many papers in the areas of applied chemistry and physics.
