Dr. Azhar Iqbal is an applied mathematician specializing in the numerical modeling of natural phenomena. He is a Faculty Member in the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU).
Dr. Iqbal earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and a Master’s degree in Engineering Mathematical and Computational Science from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. His primary research interests lie in Numerical Analysis and Computational Mathematics.
He has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed international journals, focusing on the numerical simulation of nonlinear wave propagation problems. His research is dedicated to developing and analyzing advanced numerical methods for solving differential equations, with particular emphasis on the stability and convergence of these techniques.
