Dr. Azhar Iqbal is an applied mathematician with a focus on natural phenomena. Currently appointed as Faculty of Mathematics at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) in the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. He received the Master’s Degree “Engineering Mathematical and Computational Science” from Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden) and the PhD degree in Applied mathematics from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). His recent research interests are related to Numerical Analysis and Computational Mathematics. He has published several articles in peer-review international academic journals on numerical methods and simulations of non-linear wave propagation problems. His primary interests are to find the more accurate numerical methods to solve differential equations of any order and explore the different techniques of stability and convergence of the numerical methods.
