Dr. Aljowhara Honain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), Saudi Arabia. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (Saudi Arabia), an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Middle Tennessee State University (USA), and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from King Abdul-Aziz University (Saudi Arabia).

Dr. Honain has over six years of teaching experience in both Saudi Arabia and the United States. Her expertise lies in numerical analysis, with a focus on developing advanced numerical methods for fractional differential equations, particularly in oscillatory systems. She has published in prominent journals such as the Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics and Fractal and Fractional, and presented her research at international conferences including ICFDA 2023 (Ajman) and ICFDA 2024 (Bordeaux).

In recognition of her contributions, she was awarded the Grünwald–Letnikov Award for Best Student Paper (Theory) at ICFDA 2023 for her work on rational approximation methods.

Her research interests include fractional calculus, numerical methods for differential equations, and scientific computing using MATLAB and Python. In addition to her research and teaching, Dr. Honain is deeply committed to mentoring students and integrating computational tools into mathematics education.

She looks forward to advancing impactful research and promoting academic excellence within the PMU community.
