Dr. Ayman Aljarbouh is a French national, working as Associate Professor in the department of Software Engineering at PMU, KSA. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (INRIA), University of Rennes 1, France, in 2017, and his Master’s degree from the University of Joseph Fourier (Grenoble 1), France, in 2013. His academic career is distinguished by sustained excellence in teaching, high-impact research, and senior academic leadership.

Dr. Aljarbouh has extensive experience in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels and is recognized for delivering rigorous teaching and effective student mentorship. He actively contributes to curriculum innovation and accreditation-driven program development. His teaching approach combines research-informed content with applied methodologies and modern pedagogical practices to develop graduates with strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Dr. Aljarbouh is an internationally active and recognized scholar with publications in top-tier, peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings indexed by Web of Sciences and Scopus, as well as book chapters with major academic publishers. He regularly presents at leading international conferences and has served as conference organizer, program committee member, and session chair. He is also an inventor of patented tools and software solutions, reflecting a strong focus on innovation and practical impact. His research covers several advanced areas of computer science, including software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, smart systems, cyber-physical systems, modeling and simulation, formal verification, and others. He has led and contributed to impactful research on intelligent and resilient systems, developing scalable AI-enabled solutions that enhance autonomy, resilience, and operational performance across domains such as industrial automation, smart cities, and healthcare.

In addition to his excellence in teaching and research, Dr. Aljarbouh holds a distinguished record of academic leadership, having served as chair of the department of computer science, chair of the research committee, and director of the computer science program. In these roles, he has led strategic academic planning, quality assurance, research oversight, and program enhancement initiatives. He is recognized for strong leadership, collaboration, and team development.

Dr. Aljarbouh is passionate about education and envisions preparing highly qualified graduates and computing professionals who will play a transformative role in shaping the future of technology in KSA and the region.
