Dr. Assim Abdelrazzaq is an Australian citizen with a PhD in Accounting from Western Sydney University, Australia. He brings over eight years of academic teaching experience in Business and Accounting at AACSB-accredited and globally recognized universities across Australia and Saudi Arabia. In addition to his academic career, Dr. Abdelrazzaq has more than six years of professional experience as a Senior Accounting Practitioner in both government and private sectors, with expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, and regulatory compliance. He is an active & full Member of CPA Australia and an Academic Member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), USA.

Dr. Abdelrazzaq’s research focuses on interdisciplinary business and accounting studies, with particular emphasis on corporate governance, financial transparency, sustainability accounting and ESG reporting, technology-driven accounting transformation, and accounting education. His scholarly work aims to advance accounting theory and practice through an integrated lens that combines sustainability, technology, governance, and pedagogy, as evidenced by a growing record of high-quality publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.

At Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Dr. Abdelrazzaq contributes extensively to curriculum development, student advising, research collaboration, and community engagement within AACSB- and NCAAA-accredited academic environments. He is committed to preparing outstanding accounting professionals equipped with market-driven competencies to meet the evolving needs of the Saudi labor market and Vision 2030.
