Omair was awarded the undergraduate degree of Telecommunication Engineering by FAST University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2010. Afterwards, he served in Telecom Industry as Network Operations Center Engineer for over a year, looking after the resources of Base-Stations Subsystem. He later got admission at KFUPM University, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and completed a scholarship based Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, in 2014. He worked on Weather Induced Impairments on Satellite Communication Systems as area of research during Master's degree. Omair joined the Electrical Engineering Department of PMU University as a Laboratory Instructor in 2016. His major work responsibilities include educating and evaluating the students in the experimentation work related to technical courses including Circuits-I, Electronics-I, Electronics-II, Digital Systems, Communication Systems. Alongside, he is also assigned different courses upon departmental requirements including the Circuits-I, Engineering Computing and Introduction to Engineering. He has taken part in several research activates with his peers in the areas pertaining to Signals and Image Processing.
