Dr. Fadi Sibai joined PMU in 2019 as Dean of the College of Computer Engineering and Science. He taught at KFUPM, UAE University, San Jose State University, the University of California, and the University of Akron, USA. Dr. Sibai directed the Computer Systems Design program and IBM Competence Center at the UAE University. He was the recipient and Principal Investigator of a 2010 nVIDIA equipment award, a 2006 IBM Shared University Research award (IBM’s highest research award), a 2008 Emirates Foundation research grant, a 2007 IBM Faculty award, several awards at Intel Corporation, and a 1991 University of Akron summer fellowship. He also has extensive industrial experience, having worked for Saudi Aramco and Intel Corporation, and consulted for HPE, SABIC, and KEO. He authored or co-authored over 200 publications and technical reports, including 60 journal publications. Dr. Sibai received the BS degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and MS and PhD degrees from Texas A&M University, all in Electrical (Computer) Engineering. He holds PMP, CISSP, CCNA, and CQRM certifications, and is a member of PMI, (ISC)2, and Eta Kappa Nu.
