Md Mofijur Rahman, Ph.D

Dr. Md Mofijur Rahman is a visiting Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, College of Engineering at Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University. He received his PhD in renewable energy from the Central Queensland University (CQU), Australia in 2017. He completed his M. Eng. Sc. from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2014 and B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh in 2010. He also completed his Diploma in Power Technology from Barisal Polytechnic Institute, Bangladesh in 2005. He has expertise in waste to energy technologies, bioenergy, discovering advanced biofuel for the internal combustion engine, biofuel conversion and characterisation, resource recovery, experimental and associated diagnostic techniques in the engine combustion. He has more than 8 years of research and teaching experience. Dr Rahman has more than 60 publications to his credit in journals and conferences of international repute. He has a significant contribution as an editor and peer reviewer for various reputed international journals and conferences. He has been named as an Early Achiever in Sustainable Energy (discipline of Engineering & Computer Science) in a special report published by The Australian in September 2019.
