Dr. Kuforiji had his terminal degree in Applied Microeconomics from The University of Pittsburgh in 1987. His skills, trainings, and experiences are from the public, private and academic sectors. In the public sector, he served as a Senior Administrative Officer for general administration and financial matters and his services were devoted to personnel, administration, and financial, budgeting and planning duties/affairs of the government. With regards to the private sector, he worked in various capacities regionally, nationally and internationally as president and CEO, chief consultants, trainers, seminar and workshop facilitators, directors, and continued and professional training programs developers in the areas of agriculture, business, economics, education, finance, real estate, taxation, and management. In the academics sector, he had worked with administrators, faculty, staff, and students as instructors, academic advisors, directors and coordinators in different capacities. The academic experiences equipped me with the expansive knowledge of teaching, scholarship, research, grant writing, professional development, and curricula development and internationalization at the university level. He was a Russian Faculty Exchange Scholar to St. Petersburg State Technical University, St. Petersburg, Russia, in 2002. He had served as principal investigations of a number of grants. In the area of scholarship, he is a member of many national and international professional association groups. He attends conferences and present papers. He had attended as well as made scholarly presentations in at least 40 national and international professional conferences. He co-authored four (4) books and published nine (9) scholarly articles in refereed journals. He is the managing editor of JEBS. Organized professional seminars, workshops, and global trade conferences - such as, The 2001 U.S. Department of Education funded; “ECOWAS Business Outlook Conference and Expo.” His technical, computer and research skills can be summarized as being very proficient in the utilization of the SAS, SPSS, TSP, RATS, SHAZAM, SCRIPE and ASP statistical software; many computer hardware, operating systems, web browsers, economic databases and few computer languages.
