He Joined SABIC on December 24th, 2011, then start working as Welding and Materials Expert with SABIC Manufacturing Center of Excellence (MCE) within the Materials Engineering Expert Group and in February, 2014. Hamad worked as a Pipeline/Piping Engineer for about four (4) years for Saudi ARAMCO projects via ZATE JACOBS. He has two registered patents; one was based on his Ph.D. research during his graduate school, Application number US 13/293,959 and another one during working with SABIC T&I, Application SN 2015/29808 for GCC 14METL0001-GC-NP


He is a Welding and Materials Senior Engineer who started working after the graduation from his Ph.D. as a Welding and Joining Research Scientist at SABIC Technology Center (STC), Materials and Corrosion Section (MCS). He holds a BS (2002) degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Saud University (KSU), Riyadh. MS (2006) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Colorado School of Mines (CSM), Golden, Colorado, USA, and a Ph.D. (2011) in Materials Science from the same university (CSM). In the period between BS (2002) and MS (2006).
