Dr. Geeta Duppati is a Global citizen who is currently an Assistant Professor at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), Saudi Arabia. She has had the opportunity to visit 35 different countries. Prior to joining PMU in Feb 2023, she held the position of Senior Lecturer in Finance (2013-2023) at Waikato Management School, Hamilton, New Zealand. Her teaching experience includes roles at the Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad, India; Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia; Asmara University, Eritrea, and Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand.
Dr. Geeta received several International Research Grants: USCI University, Research Excellence & Innovation Grant (REIG), Malaysia, 2022; Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS), Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia, 2023; Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) Grant in 2016 and Contestable Research Grants, WMS, New Zealand in 2019. Recently, she received Distinguished Researcher Award for 2023 from the College of Business Administration, Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Saudi Arabia.
