Dr. Bouchaib Zazoum is an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department in the College of Engineering at Prince Mohamed Bin Fahd University (PMU).

He received his M.SC and Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from ETS, University of Quebec, Montreal, Canada in 2011 and 2014, respectively.

He has worked as Research Associate and Assistant Professor at Royal Military College of Canada, Department of National Defence (DND), Ontario, Canada and Research Associate at Hydro-Quebec Research Institute, Qc, Canada, as well as Research Assistant at the University of Muenster, Germany.  

His research interests include:

  • Materials Engineering, Nanotechnology, Manufacture and Characterization of Nanocomposite Materials for Energy Storage and High Voltage Applications.
  • Laser Welding of Thermoplastic Materials and Static behavior of Mechanical Welding Joints for Automotive and Aerospace Applications.
  • Image Processing Software Developer for Materials Engineering application, and Simulation by FEM of Multi-Physics Problems.
  • He has published a number of papers in International Refereed Journals and Refereed Conference.
