Dr. Aminah Binti Abdullah is an Associate Professor in Accounting at PMU. She obtained her PhD from Royal Holloway, University of London, England in 2016. She is also the Fellow Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She has over 20 years of expertise and leadership in research, teaching and administration which she has acquired by working in higher education institutions and industry in the UK and internationally.
Dr. Aminah’s research interests are in the areas of accounting, accountability, ethics, sustainability, governance and performance management. To date, her research papers have been published in internationally refereed high-quality academic journals such as the British Accounting Review, Accounting and Business Research, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy among others (e.g. ABDC ranked A* and A).
Dr Aminah believes that a lecturer is morally obligated to enter the classroom with only the highest of expectations for each and every one of her students. Thus, the lecturer maximizes the positive benefits that naturally come along with any self-fulfilling prophecy. With dedication, perseverance, and hard work, her students will rise to the occasion.
